Clik here to view.Tall Heights | It’s been half a decade since Tall Heights kicked off their career in Boston’s Faneuil Hall, busking for more than 100 days to help fund their very first EP. Paul Wright would play cello, Tim Harrington would strum the acoustic guitar, and both bandmates would sing, their voices cutting through the noise of shoppers and tourists. Since those days, the duo’s harmony-heavy indie folk has taken Tall Heights from the marketplaces of Massachusetts to stages across the country. They’ve toured America, released critically-acclaimed album, Man of Stone, and earned a spot on the same folk family tree as Simon & Garfunkel and Bon Iver. 2015’s “Holding On, Holding Out” widens their reach significantly, beefing up their sound and building something towering on top of their folksy foundation.

Parsonsfield—Chris Freeman (vocals, banjo), Antonio Alcorn (mandolin), Max Shakun (vocals, pump organ, guitar), Harrison Goodale (bass), Erik Hischmann (drums)— has toured steadily since their debut in 2010. In 2013 they recorded their debut album Poor Old Shine (Signature Sounds Recordings), produced by Sam Kassirer (Josh Ritter, Lake Street Dive). During the winter of 2013–14 the band wrote and performed an original score in the acclaimed production of The Heart of Robin Hood at Harvard’s American Repertory Theater, and they will continue the production for a four-month Broadway tryout in Canada in winter 2014–15.

Clik here to view. The Steel Wheels | The Steel Wheels features lead singer/guitarist/banjo player Trent Wagler, stand up bassist Brian Dickel, fiddler Eric Brubaker, and mandolin player Jay Lapp. After making an album together under Wagler’s name, the group played informally for the next half decade. Their initial offering as a committed unit, 2010’s “Red Wing,” put the newly-minted fulltime band on the map at the dawn of the folk-music renaissance; the LP spent 13 weeks on the Americana Music Association’s Top 40 chart, while the track “Nothing You Can’t Lose” was named Best Country Song at the Independent Music Awards. Their recent album “Leave Some Things Behind” stands as the culmination of five years of maturation and intensive roadwork.

Clik here to view.Keller Williams | Since he first appeared on the scene in the early 90s, singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Keller Williams has defined the term “independent artist.” He has built his reputation on his engaging live performances, no two of which are alike. With the use of today’s technology, Williams creates samples on the fly, a technique called live phrase sampling or looping. With nothing pre-recorded, the end result often leans toward a hybrid of alternative folk and groovy electronica. His recent album “VAPE” was his 20th official release, and finds Williams delivering his signature, often off-the-wall storytelling with more confidence than ever. In addition to performing solo, Williams often tours with one of his many collaborations including Keller Williams with The Travelin’ McCourys, Keller and The Keels, The Keller Kwahtro featuring Gibb Droll, Danton Boller and Rodney Holmes, and others.
